Pre-sessional English

Pre-sessional English Course

The pre-sessional course focuses on English Language, including grammar and vocabulary, fluency, and pronunciation and academic skills, including presentation skills, reading and listening, writing and exam preparation. All classes will be taught in the context of academic study in a university environment.

The number of weeks you require is dependent on your current English results.

Students need to have IELTS for UKVI, or another Secure English Language Test (SELT) in order to study a pre-sessional course.

In summer 2025 all pre-sessional courses from 10 weeks and shorter will be offered as both online and face-to-face options. Courses of 20, 18, 15 and 12 weeks in length will be online only.
