For the seventh year in a row, Anglia Ruskin University has been listed in the top 350 universities in the world, and top 40 in the UK by the Times Higher Education World University Rankings 2023. ARU has been particularly praised for its ‘international outlook’ and 'Citations/ Researcher Influence'.

ARU is hosting the first-ever Chelmsford Science Festival in October this year, following on from the success of the British Science Festival held in the city last year. The festival will run from 12th to 18th October and will be hosted on the ARU Chelmsford campus.

ARU provide a very welcoming and supportive atmosphere for students in both Cambridge and Chelmsford. Chelmsford is a relatively new city as it gained its city status in 2012, the campus reflects this and is a very modern and innovative space. Many of our courses offer you a choice of city, but some are specific to either Cambridge or Chelmsford.
