Making the Most of Your Time at ARU College and ARU

My memories of ARU College are some of the best that I will cherish for life. When I first arrived, I did not feel at all that I was new in Cambridge or new in the UK, which is thanks to ARU College. Everyone from the administration staff to the module leader were really helpful and welcoming. One of the highlights of my time was being nominated for ARU College’s “Student of the year” award, which really boosted my confidence.

The subject I most enjoyed were the marketing related modules. The teachers encouraged me to come up with some great marketing ideas that were really innovative. Even I surprised myself over how creative I can be and it was the great lecturers who believed in me.

I have had many achievements that are worth mentioning whilst being at ARU College and ARU. I participated in ’ARU College’s Got Talent’ 2016 show and I won the competition with my dancing act. I enjoy taking part in dance competitions and I even had the honour of performing at the famous O2 arena. I also took part in ARU College’s 2014 football tournament and won that too! I was lucky enough to be on the cover of Anglia Ruskin’s marketing material and have filmed student videos for ARU College and ARU. Another great achievement is how I spent a study abroad semester in the USA which was a great experience and I am now a senior LAIBS intern from the Business department at the university.

I am having the time of my life at ARU. I enjoy what is being taught to me and I like how the subjects are relevant with my future career. Whenever I hear that new students are from ARU College, I immediately start sharing my experiences with them and tell them to make the most of their time at ARU College, so you should too!
